Madison Strong Fund
The Madison Strong Fund was created in honor of local 8th grade student Madison, from Pine, CO. Madison was known best to her friends and family as an incredibly creative, graceful, an active thirteen year old whose love for her family, friends, horses and dogs outweighed all other things in life. Madison was diagnosed with Leukemia in December 2019, and fought hard to beat the disease, going into remission in Spring 2020. Though Madison was well on her way to full recovery and getting a horse of her own, a long time dream of hers, a sudden complication led to her passing August 26, 2020. Madison’s parents, Kate and Russell Cleveland hope to feed her spirit and love for horses through the continuation of her Madison Strong fund, this time for the therapy of others through art and horse riding. The program will combine a special compilation of art classes, horse riding preparation, and a therapeutic ride involving other calisthenic components to riders from all walks of life, particularly children facing mental and physical battles of their own. Although Madison is no longer with us physically, we are grateful to the Cleveland Family for allowing us to help carry on her spirit through impactful programs at Promise Ranch.
