Meet Our Board

Pat Cunneen
President

I am currently working as a Product Manager for MKS Instruments in Boulder, CO. My background has always been in a sales and marketing environment. Born in Cleveland, OH, I have been a resident of Colorado for nearly 30 years. Due to the time and travel constraints incurred at work, there is little time for me to become involved with special projects…until now! I knew from the moment I saw how happy a child was riding on a horse at PRTR without even knowing he was undergoing a therapy moment, that this was a program I needed to become involved with at a greater depth than just an occasional donation. This program deserves a chance to be successful and I am proud to be a part of that ongoing effort by all of those who support this program and manage the efforts at the ranch. My hobbies include golf, tennis, time spent with my wife, Chris, and the dogs that make us so happy!

Secretary

“Jayne Schwenger is a retired Arson Investigator from the Aurora Fire Department. Her interests include spending time with her husband, spoiling her horses and cat while nurturing her relationships with good friends.

Jayne finds that volunteering and helping those less fortunate, is good for her soul.”

 Blair Wyles
Client Liaison

Blair has been on the Board of Directors at Promise Ranch since 2011. He has a passion in supporting individuals with disabilities as well as their families. This passion stems from raising his own son of 18 years, who is diagnosed with Autism. Blair has been married for 21 years and also is father to 2 wonderful daughters. He also has a 26 year old stepson who in the summer of 2013 became a father himself to a beautiful little girl. Blair’s son, Daniel, has been receiving hippo therapy at Promise Ranch since its inception in 2009. The benefits Daniel has received through the program are far reaching. Blair is a twenty year veteran with the Denver Fire Department, currently stationed at Denver International Airport. Blair just recently was appointed by the Governor of Colorado to sit on the State Medical Assistance and Services Advisory Council. This appointment is an exciting venture, as Blair and his wife Valerie are currently working within their community to create a residential option for adults with disabilities. Promise Ranch has been the training ground for Blair to help enhance and further develop many services that benefit not only those with disabilities, but the families and caregivers that devote their lives to these individuals.
